Father’s Day

My dad and I a million years ago at the zoo in Tallahassee.

Okay, so this is a bit of a belated post but I just wanna give a shout out to my Dad. I don’t mean to be braggy or anything, but okay I am – for just a second…I literally have the best I could have ever possibly asked for. I understand that I’m not just a lucky daughter, but blessed (by both of my wonderful parents.) He’s such a positive example in all different aspects of life – his walk with Christ, his relationship with my mom, his great attitude about life, his advice and guidance…not to mention he laughs at my lame jokes and ridiculous obsessions. We have a pretty tight knit family. We actually enjoy spending time together – going to the movies, making dinner, beach getaways, just chillin’. I’m really thankful that we get along so well because not only are they my family but some of my best friends. Okay, I know I sound like a cheese ball. Just wanted a little belated Father’s Day appreciation post for him and all he does for us. We got to spend some time together this weekend, vintage and craft supply hunting, eating a seafood dinner together and hanging out then church together on Sunday followed by a delicious brunch which was all fun, as always. So here’s to you Dad, thanks for being awesome.
